Broad Spectrum Antifoam / Defoamer
Description
Suretech KE-131 is a highly modified organic complex, antifoam/defoamer with excellent foam knock-down performance. It is non-toxic and non-flammable, and effective at very low treat rates.
It is specifically formulated to meet the requirements of metalworking, surface coatings and hydraulic systems which employ the use of a “Neat” solution and a de-ionised water external phase.
Application
- Suretech KE-131 is particularly suitable when used in synthetic & semi-synthetic emulsion systems requiring guaranteed foam control.
- Suretech KE-131 is specially formulated to enter the “Neat” solution without interference to the chemical balance of the system and to ensure that it will “Clean-Off” with the emulsion in metal preparation prior to subsequent operations including coatings, without undue side effects.
- Suretech KE-131 will quickly disperse in most formulations.
- Recommended Treat Rates: Due to the wide variety and complex nature of different foaming scenarios we recommend a starting treat rate, for test purposes, of 0.25%.
