Silicon Based Antifoam and Defoamer
Description
Suretech AF-Bio is a long lasting, defoamer and antifoam. It is plant-derived, non-toxic, and is also Kosher & Halal approved.
Application
- Known applications include the defoaming of water-based processes: e.g. food processing, fermentation, various industrial processes.
- Use product neat or dilute in a carrier such as vegetable oil.
- Treat rate: 100-500ppm, depending on the application (in-house trials are recommended).
- Add the defoamer prior to the generation of foam. Additional product may be added during processing.
- Filter out residual product at the end of processing.
Storage and Handling
Observe good chemical hygiene practice. Store below 30°C. The product may become increasingly hazy during long-term storage – the product is not impaired by this, gently stir to reverse.
