Cetane Improver
Petfuel CINI is a cetane improver for diesel fuels. This product helps promote quicker cold start ups and faster heating of the engine; it also helps reduce noise while the engine is running and improves the emissions profile.
Application
- Treat rate may vary depending on the cetane number of the base fuel and the desired target profile.
- Typical treat rate of 500-3000 ppm.
- A treat rate of 1000ppm will increase the Cetane Index Number (CIN) by 4-6 points.
- Compatible with aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, (also see ‘H andling’,below)
Storage and Handling
Observe good chemical handling and hygiene practice. The compatibility and stability with other additives or packages must be accessed in advance. Consult the SDS for more information.
