Viscosity Modifier
Description
Petadd VM-25(A) is an ultra-low molecular weight propylene/ethylene co-polymer, providing viscosity modification for lubricating oils. It offers good thickening power, excellent shear stability, and has good low temperature performance. Furthermore, Petadd VM-25(A) has good resistance to temperature extremes, and is widely compatible with a variety of lubricating additives.
Application
- Viscosity modifier for oils.
- Good compatibility with other lubricating additives, enabling its use in a variety of formulations and applications.
- For initial screening purposes, the recommended treat rate is 1%.
Storage and Handling
In the storage, loading/unloading and handling: The recommended temperature range is 20-30°C. Petadd VM-25(A) should be stored in a well ventilated, dry area, and out of direct sunlight. Consult the SDS for specific information.
