Overbased Calcium Sulfonate White Oil
Description
Petadd DT OB-405(WO) is a multifunctional overbased calcium sulfonate. It acts as a highly effective TBN booster in additive packages, exhibits good oil solubility, excellent high temperature detergency, and thermal stability. A white oil product, Petadd DT OB-405(WO) is NSF approved for incidental food contact, category HX-1.
Application
- Suitable for use in a variety of lubricant formulations, such as automotive crankcase and industrial oils.
- Petadd DT OB-405(WO) is an excellent feedstock for the manufacture of greases. Greases produced from Petadd DT OB-400(WO) tend to convert readily, and have excellent gel strength retention properties.
- Petadd DT OB-405(WO) has kosher approval, and is NSF approved for incidental food contact; it can thus be used in food processing equipment, for example.
