Hybase ® C-313

DESCRIPTION

Hybase® C-313 is a 300 TBN oil soluble overbased calcium sulfonate. Hybase® C-313 is a typically used as a detergent and rust inhibitor in crankcase lubricants. It can be used as the sole detergent but will also work well in conjunction with other detergent types, such as calcium phenate. It is optimized for excellent water tolerance and compatibility. Hybase® C-313 is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.

APPLICATIONS

Automotive, diesel, marine, railroad and stationary diesel lubricants.

TYPICAL TREAT

Nominal dosages would range from 0.5 to 5.0 wt. % of the finished lubricant.

HANDLING INFORMATION

Hybase® C-313 is a liquid overbased calcium sulfonate and is normally handled at elevated temperatures. For general purposes, the following storage and handling temperatures are recommended:

STORAGE 60-80°C (140-176°F)

HANDLING 80-90°C (176-194°F)
