Description
Calcinate® C300CS is a 300 TBN oil soluble crystalline overbased calcium sulfonate. It is recommended for use in soluble oils, rust protective oils and semi-synthetic fluids as a chlorine replacement to impart enhanced extreme pressure characteristics of a crystalline overbased calcium sulfonates without the sediment formation. This product is used as a component in metal working fluids where the unique lubricity and extreme pressure properties of crystalline calcium carbonate are utilized. Calcinate® C300CS is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.

Metal working fluids, industrial lubricating oils.
Typical Treat
Nominal dosages would range from 0.5 to 5.0 wt. % of the finished lubricant.
Handling Information
Calcinate® C300CS is a liquid overbased calcium sulfonate and is normally handled at elevated temperatures. For general purposes, the following storage and handling temperatures are recommended:

60-80°C (140-176°F) 80-90°C (176-194°F)
