Application
– Dispersant/emulsifying ashless hydraulic fluids
Additin RC 9317 is an ashless hydraulic fluid additive package with excellent hydrolytic stability. In appropriate base oils it meets the requirements of DIN 51524, part 2/3 (excluding demulsifying behaviour). Due to its high detergent/emulsifying characteristics Additin RC 9317 is typically used in applications where contaminations with water or water-miscible fluids can occur. Additin RC 9317 exhibits excellent filterability.
The recommended treatment level is 1.5 wt% Additin RC 9317 to meet the requirements of DBL 6721 AA02-14 and DIN 51524 p.2. With a treatment level of 1.5-2.0 wt% Additin RC 9317 and 0.8-1.0 wt% Additin RC 2545 the requirements of DBL 6721 AA90-99 are fulfilled, provided an appropriate base oil is used.
Solubility
Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils used and the compatibility with other additives.
Storage conditions
in a dry place at room temperature approx. 24 months
