Application

– engine oils
– rust preventative oils

Additin RC 4242 is mainly used as an extreme pressure additive with corrosion protection properties. Due to its
high total base number, Additin RC 4242 is an excellent acid scavenger.

Solubility

Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils
used and the compatibility with other additives

Storage conditions

in a dry place at room temperature approx. 24 months
