Additin RC 4210 N is a non-staining, low odour and Barium free anticorrosion additive giving excellent results in
the salt spray cabinet and in Kesternich cabinet (alternating and constant climates).

Additin RC 4210 N shows excellent demulsibility, good solubility as well as film forming properties and reduced
draining-off. It was developed specifically for use in rust preventative fluids based on solvents or mineral oils.
Additin RC 4210 N surpasses the performance of conventional Barium type products.
Additin RC 4210 N is a soft waxy solid at ambient temperature. However it can be easily liquified if heated at 40°C

In most cases temporary rust preservatives based on Additin RC 4210 N can be easily removed by alkaline
washing.

Additin RC 4210 N can also be used as a corrosion inhibitor in lubricating greases.

At higher treatment level, Additin RC 4210 N gives nonnewtonian fluids and may have a significant variability in
viscosity during storage. The viscosity can be influenced by shear strain.

Not suitable for circulating systems.

Solubility

Good solubility in mineral oils, synthetic base oils and white spirits. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility
in the base oils used and the compatibility with other additives.

Storage conditions

in a dry place at room temperature approx. 24 months
