Additin RC 4202 is a nonstaining, water displacing anticorrosion additive giving excellent results in the humidity and salt spray cabinet. It was developed specially for application in rust preventative oils.

Additin RC 4202 has outstanding anticorrosive properties. In most cases temporary preservatives based on Additin RC 4202 can be removed by alkaline washing. Additin RC 4202 can also be used as an excellent corrosion inhibitor in lubricating greases.

Additin RC 4202 is a nonnewtonian fluid. At higher treatment level, Additin RC 4202 may have a significant variability in viscosity during storage. The viscosity can be influenced by shear strain. Not suitable for circulating systems.

Solubility

Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils used and the compatibility with other additives.

Storage conditions

In a dry place at room temperature approx. 12 months
