Additin® RC 4103

Application

– rust preventative oils
– grease
– metalworking fluids

Due to its alkaline reserve Additin RC 4103 (M 10436) can be used as an anticorrosion additive where workpieces
come into contact with acid evolving EP additives or solvents. Greases can be formulated to meet the Emcor (IP
220) specification requirements using Additin RC 4103 (M 10436). Additionally, Additin RC 4103 (M 10436) is
suitable for formulating rust preventative oils.

Solubility

Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils
used and the compatibility with other additives.

Storage conditions

in a dry place at room temperature approx. 24 months
