Additin RC 3770 is an ashless EP and antiwear additive based on phosphorus and sulphur. Lubricants can be
optimally formulated to meet the requirements according to FZG (DIN 51354, part 2) and Vickers vane pump test
(Type V 104-C, DIN 51389, part 2) using Additin RC 3770. The recommended treatment levels are in the range
0.4 – 0.6 % by weight Additin RC 3770.

For metalworking Additin RC 3770 is preferably used in combination with sulphur carriers. Additin RC 3770
enhances the surface finish of the workpieces and improves the tool life. Typical treament leves are in the range
of 0.2 – 3.0 % by weight Additin RC 3770.

Solubility

Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils
used and the compatibility with other additives.

Storage conditions

in a dry place at room temperature approx. 24 months
