Additin® RC 3058

Type

Antiwear additive, oxidation inhibitor and mild corrosion inhibitor; light coloured and nearly odourless.

Application

– metalworking fluids
– hydraulic fluids
– industrial gear oils
– greases

By virtue of its specially selected alkyl groups Additin RC 3058 is a relatively hydrolysis-resistant antiwear additive
and antioxidant. For this reason Additin RC 3058 in combination with anticorrosion additives such as Additin RC
4220 is suited for formulating hydraulic fluids and industrial gear oils.

Solubility

Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils
used and the compatibility with other additives.

Storage conditions

in a dry place at room temperature approx. 24 months
