Application

Additin RC 2526 is a light-colored, high-performance sulphur carrier with very low odor that is used to formulate
metalworking oils and EP emulsions for heavy duty cutting and forming operations.
It can be used in a much wider range of applications than chlorinated paraffines and sulfur carriers with a similar
sulfur content. It is suitable for forming processes involving small relative movements (e.g. deep drawing
operations) as well as for high-speed cutting processes such as deep hole drilling, milling and broaching. In the
presence of yellow metals the additional use of a suitable inhibitor such as Additin RC 8210 is required.
Solubility
Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils
used and the compatibility with other additives.
