Application

– metalworking fluids for medium to heavy machining operations

Due to its specially selected raw materials Additin RC 2416 has typically good solubility in hydrocracked oils.
Additin RC 2416 is ideally suited for formulating metalworking fluids with high EP properties. In order to obtain
long tool lives and high workpiece quality a combination of Additin RC 2416 with antiwear additives, e.g. Additin
RC 3038 or Additin RC 3740, is recommended.

Solubility

Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils
used and the compatibility with other additives.
