WHEN IN ROME…….SELL GREASES!

In April, the KRAHN UK team travelled to Rome for the 2026 ELGI (European Lubricating Grease Institute) AGM. The event brings together grease manufacturers, additive and equipment suppliers, research organisations, and industry experts from across the world. The three-day AGM attracts over 400 participants and comprises exhibitors and a programme of presentations from leading industry voices, networking sessions, and knowledge sharing.
KRAHN joined forces with LANXESS to showcase the range of LANXESS finished greases now available from KRAHN alongside the LANXESS Hybase® portfolio of grease feed, specifically designed for thickening Calcium Sulfonate Complex grease with operational batch-to-batch yield consistency and finished performance.
“ ELGI is always an inspiring event and an ideal platform to present our portfolio of world-class LANXESS grease products,” explains Andrew Lamb, Managing Director, KRAHN UK. “We strongly promoted the NSF approved food-safe feedstocks Hybase® GFX-400 and GFX-500, as well as Hybase® C-502 with its optimised soap content serving as a premium detergent and rust inhibitor. We are now following up on leads, building sales and starting to plan for next year’s AGM in Bucharest.”
The 2027 ELGI AGM takes place in Bucharest from 3-6 April.
