Type
Zinc containing oxidation, rust and wear inhibiting additive package
Application
– premium performance hydraulic fluids with excellent filtration properties
Additin RC 9200 is a hydraulic fluid package offering outstanding antiwear corrosion protection and antioxidant characteristics at low treatment rates of 0.6 – 0.8 % by weight.
Additin RC 9200 can be used to formulate high performance hydraulic fluids with excellent thermal stability (according to ASTM Cincinnati Machine P-68/P-69/P70 requirements), hydrolytic stability (fulfills HF-0 requirements, tested according to ASTM-D 2619) and filtration properties even when extremely fine filters are used (according to AFNOR N FE 48-691 (wet)).
Solubility
Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils. However, it is necessary to verify the solubility in the base oils used and the compatibility with other additives.
Storage conditions
In a dry place at room temperature approx. 24 months
Handling
Additin® RC 4820 may become turbid to semi-crystalline upon storage. Material can be easily liquified by heating
to approx. 50 °C prior to formulation.
Consult material safety data sheet (MSDS)
for additional handling information on Additin RC 8012.
