Additin® RC 7235 is a liquid antioxidant belonging to the group of sterically hindered, non-discolouring phenols.
The field of application of this universal oxidation inhibitor includes most types of lubricants. Additin RC 7235 has a low evaporation tendency and is therefore very well suited for high temperature applications.

The combination of Additin® RC 7235 with aminic antioxidants, e.g. Additin® RC 7135 LD and/or copper
deactivators, e.g. Additin® RC 8221, is leading to more extensive oxidation inhibiting properties.

Additin® RC 7235 can be applied for all industrial uses of lubricants and is well-known for stabilizing vegetable
and animal fats. For that reason and from field experience Additin® RC 7235 is recommended to stabilize
biodegradable lubricants such as rapeseed oil and synthetic esters.

Solubility

Additin® RC 7235 is easily soluble in most mineral oils and synthetic base stocks. However, it is necessary to
verify the solubility in the base oils used and the compatibility with other additives.

Storage Conditions

in a dry place at room temperature approx. 24 months; longer storage on exposure to light must be avoided
