Martin John succeeds Dr. Rolf Kuropka as CEO

Effective May 1st, 2025, Martin John will join the executive board of KRAHN Chemie Group and take over as CEO on June 1st. Dr. Rolf Kuropka, who has been Managing Director of KRAHN Chemie for 13 years, will assign his operational responsibility to Martin at the end of May 2025 as part of a planned change in management. After that, Dr. Kuropka will continue to support the Group in an advisory capacity,

Martin, 53, has more than 30 years of international experience in the chemical industry. He has previously worked for Hoechst, Süd Chemie and Clariant in Europe, the USA and China. Over the past 15 years, he has managed global business units for Clariant in various industries, most recently the additives business in the coatings and adhesives industry.
